One of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century is the stagnation and slow decline of nuclear power in most countries. It could have considerably reduced CO2 emissions.

Actually, you are wrong. Coal production has decreased but imports have increased. Coal consumption has decreased but most of the electricity still generated by burning coal.pic.twitter.com/zDfztcW5gK
