Let's clarify this... On one hand, the supermajority of SF/SV founders were born rich, went to an Ivy (nearly a requirement to get funded), are part of the network. On the other hand, SF/SV rhetoric is all about rag-to-riches stories, lionizing founders as self-made heroes

On one hand, the tech scene discourse is purely group-think, the supermajority of founders unconditionally embrace mainstream culture & ideology, and self-identify with stereotypes On the other hand, SF/SV rhetoric is all about thought leadership, daring to be think differently

This is too broad. Yes, there is too much group-think. But the tech scene also contains genuinely diverse and empathetic leaders and companies. It is not one thing.
