trying to build ecosystem , I guess desperate attempt
To me, the Facebook cryptocurrency sounds like an ambitious me-too idea in the same category as the Facebook email service, the Facebook phone, the FB mobile OS (recall FB Home?), the FB voice assistant, or the Facebook deep learning library. No one will remember it in 5 years.

I respectfully disagree on this one Francois, but we'll have to see how it plays out. Facebook has an opportunity to bank the millions of unbanked people in the world, i hope they don't squander it

I agree, fb #Crypto#stablecoin won't go away. Not bcz it wants us well; but bcz it knows is better than we know ourselves (hence will find a way to predictively give us what we didn't know we want)
