Remember 2013, when Very Serious researchers and pundits warned us that AI & robotics would cut employment by a factor of 2 within 15 to 20 years? US unemployment has gone from 8% to 3.6% in the 6 years since.

How gamed those numbers are, how many are crap or p/t jobs, how many are but one of 2-3 people must take, including people who can never retire. And how many a rational humanity would end, given their long term costs. But let's toast illusional success. And this is only 6 years.

This. Unemployment rate only reveals partial information about the work force. Also the income inequality has been growing.
