Some of the climate change denial is obviously linked to protecting certain economic special interests. But some is apparently cultural, along the lines of "caring for the environment is for cucks and soyboys, real men drive big trucks and dump their trash in national parks".
Certain people believe that caring about anything other than yourself is weakness.
