I think some deny it because were only ever told us modest humans living in small homes are the ones causing it. What if its a natural earthly cycle of warming. There have been many in the past. Many periods of cooling too.

And some skepticism (not denial) is driven by the massive amount of government control that is being demanded. The narrative has been (so far): 1. Create Panic. 2. Demand control/compliance. 3. Condemn skeptics. 4. Discredit alternatives. Urgency manufactured to prevent scrutiny.
