An interesting business dynamic: the bigger the company, the harder it becomes for it to compete on UX. I believe this is due to 1) gradually losing focus (more decision-makers, more user segments), 2) increased employee specialization leading to falling out of touch with users.

After using hangouts & zoom; I still prefer the former any day for functionality & reliability. Advantage blown with deprecation, naming, mixed marketing msg, neglect, internal competition. Sad as a user & xoogler.
