Germany is doing pretty bad on climate stuff, due to reliance on coal. You literally just posted the numbers. Look at the left axis on the graphs for France and Germany -- the numbers are 2x larger for Germany, for a country with only 20% more people.
That’s just scratching the surface. Our „green energy transition” is a really poorly disguised wealth transfer from the urban to the rural, from the renters to the land owners. And it didn’t move the needle. The only thing that’s preventing blackouts r.n. is the European grid.
And and a handful really power hungry industrial companies (I.e Aurubis etc.) that we sometimes pay to shut immediately down if there’s a sudden power shortage. It’s not sustainable model
