And us writers secretly envy coders: when weaving a code, you can know for sure how good/bad it is just by checking the results... when you write a novel, there is no way of knowing with certainity if the end result is the optimal one, you just have to stop at one point!

True! Writers generally don’t have starter code or Github sample to start with either. Plus coding does provide you a continuous feedback about what what works and what doesn’t!
