Fulfilling experiences emerge from genuine human connection and serendipitous discovery. There can't be a mass market for these. Buy all the "experiences" you can -- you will end up with a very envy-inducing Instagram account, but likely not much happier than where you started.

Maybe the next few decades will see Western culture realize that money in itself can't directly procure happiness... being at peace with yourself and exercising compassion towards others will help you more than all the money in the world. Easier said than practiced though...

But for this cultural shift to happen, someone needs to be telling this story. At scale. In our world, cultural narratives are told by brands, mainly. Which is why the answer is always "buy X to be happy and fulfilled".
