I think your pt 2 is redundant. Besides why is biological evolution a moral to aim for or replicate? Also, even if the gene-pool is isolated, there are no "pure" lineages, cf. genetic drift

In my experience the main factor to help human flourishing has been diversity. And the main factor affecting diversity has been the community around the school, not how the school itself worked.

Diversity of what exactly? Eye colour? Length of hair? Skin tone? Body height? Weight? Presence or lack of a moustache?

It simply gives you too many biases in what you learn, giving you an incentive to learn what will help you achieve better grades (and beat others) and not what is most useful to you...
