Trump as a (willing) vector of fascism - https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/10/trump-alt-right-twitter/574219/ … (or, to use the terms of art, a catalyzer of the ethno-nationalist "alt-right" and its "racially-charged rhetoric")

Posting this on here is of course a magnet for highly toxic replies, so I'm not doing it for fun. I think it's important to call a spade a spade. We should use the meaning of words as intended.

I can't see clear evidence of the direction of cause and effect but common sense would suggest that if there is more than just correlation the interaction is not simple and is duplexed. Even then it is one facet of a bigger picture where different groups are co opted to max votes

Serious, non-trolling question. Couldn't you say the same things about Obama being the vector for far-left totalitarianism? For example, being sympathetic to Venuzuela and Cuba. Also, aren't the fringes naturally going to align with those closest in perceived alignment?

Anti-semitism - where fake jews kill Semites? I've come to realize by actions not claims, the israeli occupation is not a state but an arm of the US Military Industrial Complex. Most common deception, claiming one thing & doing opposite, bit flipping. Cause its easy to remember.

400 years ago scientists claimed the earth was flat to maintain their funding. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

A lesson of the 20th century is that fascism generates massive engagement YouTube and Facebook's AIs have been set to maximize engagement. In order to do that, they're often maximizing fascism
