So, is Trump a fascist? For the most part, no, and the Trump administration is definitely not a fascist regime. However, Trumpism is fundamentally a fascist movement, and so are many of the growing ethno-nationalist, anti-globalization movements around the world.

Trumpism is not purely fascist -- it doesn't quite feature every single characteristic of fascism, & it has a number of original features of its own. But at its heart it is fascist; certainly enough to be wholeheartedly endorsed by a number of fascist true-believers like Spencer.

It would be more accurate to say that Trump is a vector of fascism, than to say that Trump is a fascist per se.

You practice 4, 5, 6,7, 8 and 14. Possibly more. The abyss of fascism must've stared back at you.

Trump is happy to wittingly be a safe harbor for fascists But the vector for fascism is the American people— it was obvious what Trump was, MANY people were making warnings, and enough people voted for him anyway With Fox News providing the substrate for growth the past 20 yrs

And probably even that is too much. Trump is just a mild nationalist and a mild xenofobe.

I'd take the projection of Trumpism onto fascism to see how much they're related but I don't want to normalize either of them.

Trump is a fascist at heart but is currently still restrained by the American democratic establishment. However, these restrains are weakening.

Enjoy your historical tweets as much as your tech ones 😁. "Vector of facisim" is very accurate description but kinda of worry it might confuse people not used to such language. Why not simply call him a new kind of fascist (which technically means vector)?
