I suppose that's because the media does not know what fascism is, and thus is unable to recognize it unless it explicitly labels itself as such. Should have paid more attention in history class...

At least they are outraged about fascism. They are - at best - indifferent towards Communism.

More than indifferent -- its more of blind fascination/love. Communism is mostly like promise that a teenage boyfriend gives which sounds rosy ..but.. never materializes
