Newspapers should not have comment boxes (unless they are ready the employ full-time people to heavily curate the replies), and Twitter should allow disabling replies on tweets, as well as removing specific replies (only way to do this now is by blocking the poster)

I assume your definition of troll is a human, I still support the idea of providing reply buttons, since normally after reading the articles I go to comments to understand what is public opinion, should we start thinking of downvoting trolls and a rating system similar to Reddit?
