It's always a major red flag when a decision-maker claims to have "great intuition for judging people" or "a x-ray for character". Human intuition is fundamentally biased -- much like machine learning algorithms, but often worse.

System 2 thinking is difficult. We replace the difficult 'is this person worthwhile', with the easier: "do I like this person". We apply this naturally when we marry, when we vote or when we hire. Danny's story about interviewing is such an entertaing example of "social radar" :)
