It is super creepy. That isn’t all that they do which is creepy. I firmly believe their user numbers are plummeting. The network effect helped them grow rapidly. Now it’s causing them to decline almost as quickly.

People working at FB act like growth is self-justifying-how could they grow so much if they weren't good for the world? Well, cocaine had massive growth in the 80s. I don't think anyone claimed it was a good thing. Though, to be fair to coke, I bet it was a lot more fun than FB.
