Someone once told me this simple rule in tech: If the outcome of what you are doing could result in you feeling upset if you or someone you knew were the subjected to that tech - reconsider how or why you do it.

It’s a time series question. If you go length of universe all physical rules will be broken due to singularity. If you go length of particular human existence the features list becomes strict. Societal length? We will need rampant diversification of rule logic to grow.
