To be clear, my thread about BCIs addresses specifically the "unleash human potential" pitch for BCIs. Not the "incrementally more convenient way to use your smartphone" pitch, nor the "help disabled people pitch" (obviously a good thing).

Isn’t that a little bit of a narrow view. BCI wont be just UI but a combination of a lot of things. UI today is all about predictions. Imagine a BCI that takes any equation you are trying to solve in your brain and shows you the results wouldn’t that make you superhuman in maths?

It would mean the C part of my BCI is really good at math. Think I will continue to be pretty average. Plus perhaps other than increase in speed of program realization, this is equivalent to me solving it on a comp without BCI and I wouldnt consider myself a math genius then.
