agree, and also as far as quotes go, most if not all quotes that became famous were probably said hundreds if not thousands of times by ordinary people (not celebritries).

I like your take. Usually things are explained in a simple manner by people (including me) who don't understand the stuff and wouldn't be able to make it any more precise.

It was not Einstein, or Feynman, it was me. And there was a fat, angry "goddammit" at the end that is inexplicably left off when I am quoted.

Yeah there's no simple + accurate descriptions of a lot of things in algebraic topology, to take a topic at random.
