Violence, in general, has no place in a free society. The reason why the police is given the option to use violence (as a last resort) as part of our social contract, is to *protect* people. The use of state violence for any other purpose is incompatible with a free society.
In particular, the existence of a violent mass-deportation force that commits human rights abuses unchecked, is incompatible with a free society. Abolish it, and prosecute abuses.
