Nothing is really complex.
There is rarely "one weird trick" that will provide the definitive solution to a complex issue. But inversely, just because a problem looks difficult at first, don't assume it will necessarily require a complicated solution. Keep a bias towards simplicity.

I’d say most complex issues are a combination of less than 7 simple issues interacting in complex ways. Thus most complex issues can be solved with less than 7 simple solutions.

I believe simple solutions emerge from a deeper understanding of the problem in question. It helps to avoid thinking of a solution at all when examining a problem at hand.
