As in, this is not a case of one ideology debating another on an equal footing. Knowledge developped through a century of consensus-building and evidence-collection among thousands of rational humans weighs more than evidence-free ideological arguments.

So my hypothesis that the fundamental building blocks are cranky little dwarves and mirthful gnomes doesn’t get equal debate time because the LHC has turned up no evidence of the little fellas? Would you hang around if someone was shooting high speed protons at you?
