Interesting, though I think most of his work / papers stayed private even after passing, which might have contained intuitive limitations on hardware & valid alternative. Although, earlier work of Turing and Church by that time had become more influential. (Survivorship Bias?)

Zuse was the first man to conceptually develop a higher level programming language. To me, he compares with the likes of Babbage and his difference engine. His contribution to the history of computing is important and deserves much wider recognition. Expand on wrong?
