Months later, my wallet was stolen without me noticing. The Met called me twice about this. I was shown more care from the Met about a replaceable item than my personal safety.

In 2020 I was physically assaulted by a man on an almost empty London street on my way home from work. Minutes from my house, I cycled home and called the Met Police for help and to report what had happened to me. They couldn’t have been less interested.

The vast majority of women navigate through life with no problems what so ever. But some don't and that's where being smarter comes in. If Sarah Everard gets a taxi home instead of walking she would still be alive. If your man hits you it's 1 strike and out. Plenty of adjustments
