It is no longer enough to retake the House in 2018. It is no longer even enough to retake the Senate. We must wipe out the GOP so thoroughly and methodically that it will be a warning throughout history to any politician who ever does this to their constituents again.

I've been saying that for months now. Months. Repairing the sort of damage they're doing requires LONGTERM filibuster-proof super majorities in both houses, a Democratic president, and a housecleaning of the entire judiciary.

Not only that, but we're going to have to change vetting standards in the military and law-enforcement. No more Nazis, white-supremacists, or religious zealots. On top of that, we have to get the religious claptrap that has slowly crept into government OUT.

But in order to stop Trump and party, we must retake both houses with a veto proof majority so that we can fix what these knuckleheads have done. Otherwise, it is still a losing battle.

Can't do veto-proof Senate in 2018, not enough seats open. Time to do that was 2016. Maybe in 2020,2021....
