Every time I even mention the i n c e l mindset or boards, there is ALWAYS someone that pops up by keyword searching to tell me they are incel but they arent like that. Then dont call urself incel dude, because that community is wholly toxic, why would u -want- to be associated
The original incel site that was made was made by a 30 something woman just wanting to reach out to people and discuss her situation. It was a good cause initially. It spiraled downwards into what it is today very quickly

It's too bad, because I definitely see a need for it (in a positive space). Removing the stigma of virginity and helping people express their concerns and difficulties in a healthy way. But there is no incel board currently that offers that, without also offering toxic nonsense.

For disabled people, I think it's less about the virginity crap and more about the social assumptions that we can't or shouldn't have sex, and the way that ingrained ableism affects others' choices.

Like, no one should *have* to have sex with a disabled person. But arguing that ableism isn't playing a role is kinda problematic. No single person is at fault, but the overall systemic effect is… unfortunate.

It feels like that happens e v e r y time we start talking about the toxic stew around disabled people and sex and dating. I'm so sick of it. Either that or we get swamped by fetishists.
