    I will also remind everyone at home that social norms are not at all universal. So, you're still allowed to feel like something is creepy if some of your family/friends/co-workers don't.

    Creepiness is a feeling of unease that come from an experience that breaks social norms, or where social norms don't yet exist. Don't let this guy, or anyone else, tell you that you're 'wrong' for feeling creeped out by something.
