Mean, tricky & out of touch. We’ve seen this movie before but who’d have thought they’d pull this stunt in the middle of a job destroying pandemic. We’ve sacrificed much & done the right thing by each other during this crisis, so why won’t the government?

Can I make this plea: many of the finest journalists I have ever worked with are now looking for jobs. You can tell they are quality because they have the letters AAP on their CVs. Please hire them. They will work hard and deliver every day with good humour and enormous energy.

Morrison said to be channelled Churchill with Defense boost. Makes sense. A few weeks ago he channeled Lincoln by abolishing slavery in Australia (by denying it existed).
