I'm really proud of this piece published today in / "How To Wait Well." It feels like the culmination of my research on waiting and a wonderful venue to gather some of my book's most important takeaways.

Dang, for a split second I thought this headline meant that Blockbuster video rental stores were going to make a comeback and I was filled with nostalgic joy. There’s definitely a market for obsolete technologies that inspire nostalgia, right?

What interests me most is the long walk from the Ellipse to the Capitol Building. It’s not a short journey! Most pieces present this walk as a “storming” but there was a lot of delay built into it, as people walked the 1.5 mile distance between the White House & the Capitol.
