I have a lot of sympathy for marginal people, whether socially, economically, nationally, intellectually, sexually, etc. — Of course: I am one of them. But it always amazes me when some of them, many standard deviations away from the masses, claim to speak for those masses.
Notice I said "them" not "us". Using the word "us" or "we" in an active voice without a signed power of attorney should be recognized as a grammatical offense and its authors sued as the worst kind of scammers if they seriously insist (as opposed to being parodic).
