Being much faster, I could run circles around the wizard and his minions, dodge his attacks and probe his defenses, nullifying his OODA loop. His superior power couldn't touch me while I could use precision to defeat him — if only I could finish him before he too sped himself up.

A protection field a few feet around would reflect back at the sender any spell or object cast at him (so to get rid of guards, make them shoot him), but let missing bullets pass through. I shot two near misses so that the bullets collided past the field then combined to hit him.
