I'm aiming to take Corelan's Advanced course next year, 90% of which is on browser exploitation on Windows. What resources did you use to help you get started?
As I've recently gotten into browser exploitation, I thought I'd solve and do a writeup for a CTF challenge from earlier this year that really doesn't have any detailed writeups. I didn't use any resources except saelo's two phrack papers and a lot of conference talks on youtube (such as Bruno's ones on attacking ChakraCore). You must be able to organize the overload of new information well in your head at the beginning. After that, it gets easier.

Good stuff, you should check out recent commits of v8, pointer compression is now enabled so smi and pointer encoding have changed ;)
