Everyone has the right not to be harassed or offended in their workplace. What your doing was not raising concerns or expressing views in a civilised manner. If you were abusive to a member of staff in a bank or shop you would be removed. This is no different. @realDonaldTrump
It is different because in our legal system individual citizens are protected from government action by the First Amendment
So it says that all government employees can be harassed in this way and they can’t do anything to stop it, and that citizens are entitled to do so....
Nope that’s not what it says. It protects the right to protest and dissent, which is what we’re doing
Claiming what you posted is “protesting” doesn’t change what you did. If a right politically aligned individual posted something similar to a far left politician, I’m sure you would have something different to say.
The President does not deny that he blocked us for disagreeing with him. It's on p. 1 of the joint stipulation for the case: https://knightcolumbia.org/sites/default/files/content/Cases/Twitter/ECF%20No.%2030-1%20-%20Joint%20Stipulation.pdf …pic.twitter.com/lZtC1rr1Cu
That was on his PRIVATE account.
He uses his “private” account for official business (and he blocked us for responding to such tweets). For example today he announced new Secretary of State and CIA director on that account.
So glad My @POTUS doesn't block me on Twitter. I respect the block after you've engaged in harassment and mockery. For this @realDonaldTrump has a legal right to block harassing, offensive and counter-productive rhetoric.
Totally your right to believe this. But you’ll have to change the Constitution to make it true.
Don't you have anything better to devote your time to these day? I can think of more things you can advocate for as oppose to harassing the @POTUS
That constitutes a deliberate attempt to intimidate and harass the @POTUS. You won't prevail.
You seem to feel the President is very fragile. Maybe if he were more familiar with our legal and political system he would be better prepared for legitimate, lawful, peaceful citizen dissent.
I appears you’re fragile too.
Zing! In our system, the law protects the people from the government, not the other way round
English here so no interest in anything about your politics but in regards to it being "unconstitutional" to block someone on Twitter - is this a joke? Grow up!
By our Constitution private citizens are protected by government officials through the First Amendment, so the president's behavior is regulated differently from that of regular individuals. Citizens are free to block each other of course.
