When you lose an election, you don’t incite violent insurrection. When you lose an election, you don’ start pushing legislation to suppress future votes. When you lose an election, you learn what voters want & need & work to give it. Why is this so hard for the once-legit GOP?

Let me get this straight, AOC tries to help people in a Red state. Yet all the Republicans who were demanding unity accuse her of trying to make them look bad instead of acknowledging that she is getting people much-needed assistance?

30 days. 33 states. 165 bills. All from GOP legislators. All intended to restrict voting. All because Trump got his ass handed to him last November.

A little embarrassing for the Texas GOP that did more for hurting Texans in this crisis than Senator Cruz did.

It really is stunning that AOC has done more for Texas this week than Ted Cruz and John Cornyn.

Please please don't let Ted Cruz become the dominant narrative of the Texas crisis. People are dying and suffering b/c Texas' gov't has been outsourced to corporate interests, the energy industry, and free market ideologues 1/2

Today: *Beto O’Rourke organized over 300,000 wellness check phone calls to senior citizens in Texas. *Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez helped raise over $1 million for Texas charities online. *Ted Cruz took a late nonstop flight from Cancun to Houston and then did three TV interviews.

How come and work to raise money for struggling Texans, many of whom didn't vote for Beto and think AOC is a she-witch, doesn't count as a UNITY story? How come the media isn't spinning it that way? How come "unity" can only mean "giving the GOP what it wants"?

Republicans want no regulation & the government out of their lives. Until this happens. Then they ask, 'How could this have been allowed to happen?! We need help--where's the government?!' Imagine how those in need *every day* of their lives feel, GOP.

One can hope. Sad that this is what it takes, but I really do hope Texans open their eyes to the fact that Republicans don't care about them.
