Starbucks hardly qualifies as a #FairShot. They are just a business like any other business with a model for deciding where new shops go. Part of that model is the cost of housing nearby. How much is it going to cost to live at Skyland? Oh yeah. $1800/ mo to start. Just sayin’.
This really is another example of the mayor and ward council members working together to put pressure on retailers to go east of the river. We have a lot of the retail that we want, just not everywhere we need it.
