#HericiumErinaceus anyway it's a rare find. Pom pom mushroom or Lion's mane mushroom , bearded tooth mushroom or fungus: Satyr's beard and bearded hedgehog We call it Wig mushroom

I did a little reading and you’re correct - this is most likely Hericium spp. which exhibits a yellowing colour as it ages....apparently well known for its medicinal properties as well. Thank you Jisca
