    Hi we agree this could be a great role! But does "or equivalent" in qualification mean that a qualification is essential, or would you accept experience? We hope academic routes aren't the only ones you will accept for what is, basically, an admin role!

    So aspires to be the most inclusive museum service in the country. Yet if you’re route into the sector workforce isn’t an academic one, you’re at a serious disadvantage in trying to get through their doors. Please accept equivalent experience!

    A7 We would encourage everyone to speak up in their own organisations where they can about reliance on qualifications - are they *really* necessary for every job? Is there experience that is just as good? 1/2

    Dare I bring up the elephant in the room..... We can't expect young adults to join the field if we can only offer them 'really great internship, degree needed, paid in smiles'

    Do school leavers know about this sector? Are there enough roles to support the number of people? What development can we encourage that ISN'T working for free or having an MA? And how can we retain good people at mid-career? This will be a good .

    Curators should be paid more. Heads of Coffee should be paid more. MacDonald’s workers should be paid more. We can point out disparities between rates and salaries without invalidating other people’s labour. But let’s never punch down. We should all be paid more.

    - has there been a repatriation request? - if yes, what is the progress with that? - if no, has permission / collaboration / repatriation been offered to any experts in Egypt, and if so, which authorities? - who ultimately should this project benefit?
