Hey, can you not? We did this in the spirit of some friendly joking around, but in all seriousness FoF deserves their chance to show off. There are huge amounts of things that go on behind the scenes that make just releasing things incredibly complicated.

Nouveau and an open boot stack. We don't do blobs unless under extreme duress.

If there'll be a way to dual-boot (hopefully through the Homebrew Launcher) a fully functional Linux distro, that'll make the Switch a very cool console. Just imagine playing BotW, then hopping over to Linux for some Portal 2 or a desktop web browser.

Not to mention, this alone could make most homebrew unnecessary, because emulators and programs on Linux are probably better maintained than their unofficial Switch ports or counterparts.

Yep, as long as Linux is quick to boot and we use some kind of finger friendly and controller friendly UI. Otherwise I can see users preferring native homebrew.
