New promising async web framework: https://vibora.io Built on top of asyncio & uvloop. Crazy fast: 350K req/s on a simple hello world micro-benchmark. 2x faster than Sanic on average. Flask-inspired.

Does it show same result in TechEmpower plaintext benchmark? ;)

I don't know... looks like it hasn't been yet submitted. I also don't see any description of the benchmarking methodology/setup. FWIW I'm more excited that people create new asyncio frameworks, not how fast those frameworks are :)

I always wonder about reason for promotion of python framework as fast! Doesn’t matter how fast c-optimized code of framework, couple hundred lines of busyness code equalizes all of them.

The author is promising an integration with Cython and jit for user-defined functions. It can be interesting.

I don’t want to say anything about framework. But cython? Really. If you need performance, python is bad choice in first place.
