I have always difficulties in generating pdf from latex files. Damn!
Couldn’t the cause be in Harfbuzz since it doesn’t show up in any other situation?

It does't even compile without using Harfbuzz. It crashes LuaLatex parser:

The OpenType parser of Harfbuzz works but with the weird ligature. Harfbuzz+Graphite "works" but displays nothing.

It *seems* like the last font the parser reads before dying is PragmataProR_liga_0829.ttf, which isn't even used in the document but oh well

Actually Minion Pro does the exact same weird ligature. Guess it's a LaTeX oddity.
