Back in 2011 when I worked for Moonscoop, they we're making a bid to do a #Skylanders TV series. I found out and asked the dude in charge if I could do some concept work.

Yep. I remember seeing the Spyro model they were thinking of working with and being like "oh." Also that it was more or less gonna be a bunch of folks plus Spyro, less a Spyro cartoon in of itself.

So what you're telling me was they didn't even do enough research and you did. I understand that they added Spyro last second reworking a dragon design they already had but yours looks on point & it's a shame they had to stick with whatever they had.

I don't know the full history behind Skylanders, I only know what elements I saw while at Moonscoop (now Splash). And only that the dude working on a pitch trying to convince the studio behind it to use them for production didn't know much about Spyro.
