    1) Model output helped us defining which along-track areas should be expected to match given wave buoy obs 2) In-situ vs. satellite comparison showed that within 15km from shore, Sentiel-3 wave obs in SAR mode outperforms those in PLRM (low res)

    At 45 degrees South; we traveled south west for a few days to avoid a huge storm building off the southerly tip of South America. Four days to go until we reach Punta Arenas, Chile.
