One could say that only congress can infringe on free speech in a very narrow sense of understanding, but they’d be wrong...

No, they wouldn't. Did no one have free speech before the internet? Think about what you're saying here. It's ridiculous.

You’re wrong because you are not seeing how de platforming/ censorship is one of several tools used to set precedent on speech norms which leads to legal precedent. In Canada Matthew 19:4-5 is “hate speech”. Our US CONSTITUTION is not immune to a rapidly changing world.

I try and keep up with the ominous trends about that, but I was being specific. Only the government can limit free speech.

That sentiment is basically the “this is fine” Meme: & The table/coffee is the US Constitution while everything around it is on fire...pic.twitter.com/2fyLyeZbQz

I didn’t say it’s fine and don’t think it’s fine.

The meme still echoes the sentiment. Our government, all 3 branches of government, are ran by people. Many of which are indoctrinated into believing a world view that threatens the rights explicitly stated in constitution:many outright reject rights=“inalienable/granted by creator”.

When you add social media/tech companies herding/dictating speech norms set by the Academy, you have a dangerous recipe for our government to follow suit. We take our rights for granted because it’s what we know when the rest of the world doesn’t operate like that. It’s naïveté...

I agree with all of that and think the tech companies need more competition or to go out of business. People just have to stop using them.
