THANK YOU to the hundreds of people who have shared the news of this shocking attack on us - it appears Facebook has backed down, and is allowing us to post without deleting our whole account. You helped us win today; but I am certain Zuckerberg's censors will be back again.

  3. Facebook wants to shut down the page for being conservative. Unacceptable.

  4. Here's Facebook's notice. We have 10,000 posts; they won't tell us which one is "problematic". Their advice is to shut down the whole page. No info about who complained; no way to appeal; nothing. Just sociopath Mark Zuckerberg censoring the website Justin Trudeau hates most.

  6. The U.S. Congress grilled Mark Zuckerberg for two days. Yesterday he was grilled by the EU. Not in Canada -- Kevin Chan has private meetings with Trudeau, and illegally kept them secret from the lobbying commissioner:

  7. It's unsurprising. Justin Trudeau personally threatened Facebook that if they didn't censor political commentary he didn't like in advance of next year's election, he'd regulate them. They were eager to comply:

  8. BREAKING: Former Liberal Party staffer Kevin Chan, now Facebook's head of politics in Canada, keeps his promise to Justin Trudeau, and suspends The Rebel's Facebook page. No specific allegation; we just can't post anything, and they advise us to just delete the page.

  10. Ten years ago, my prosecution at the hands of the human rights commission was an international scandal. Today's censors are smarter. Governments just outsource it to Facebook, YouTube & Twitter, who are smarter than to hold a public hearing, or answer any questions.

  11. Canada's "conservative" parties are extremely weak on freedom of speech. They fear that if they defend free speech, they will be tarred as agreeing with anything controversial. Which is true, at the hands of the state broadcaster and most mainstream media. We'll have no aid.

  20. A statement in support of a journalist who was physically attacked for her politics should really have come from a journalists’ association, or a civil liberties group. But it didn’t, because she’s conservative, so that fell to Trump.
