Why? I thought the House was there to represent the "people" and the Senate was there to represent the "States". Isn't that why Senators were originally appointed by the States?

This makes the case for Admitting DC and Puerto Rico, even if its a 50-50 Senate with VP-elect Harris as the tie-breaker. We've got to root out this tyrannical minority party that has consolidated so much power in itself.

Commentators and pundits should keep this in mind when they talk about how Dems are failing to reach voters with their message, and the nation is evenly divided. It's not.

And let's not forget pols on both sides of the "moderate" "progressive" "divide". Let's savor the win and recognize that our *coalition* is far broader than the revanchist Republicans, and growing. We have the mandate. Let's act like it.
