It's not too divisive to use as a monopartisan act?
I’m struck how many of the Republican arguments against impeachment are arguments that the impeachment power itself is too divisive to use. All of these senators consider themselves “constitutional conservatives.” None of them are.

“Constitutional Conservatives” has always been nothing but lip service. Same as toughness on crime, and support for military. When it comes time to putting money where their mouth is, the GOP is always on a bathroom break.

From now on, any reporter, pundit or TV presenter who fails to mention that the real reason for polarity and divisiveness in USA is because of GOP's refusal to act within constitutional norms. GOP is operating in a different reality of Fox and right wing grifter spaces.
