Nothing we’ve learned this week changes the picture we already had. It has been this bad since day one. It has been this bad since the campaign. That’s never been hidden. Trump has always made his unfitness obvious. Denying it takes an act of will, seeing it doesn’t.

this is what we were warned about before the election. Scholars of tyranny, those who have lived under it, they all warned us. It has always been visible and obvious. The only question is what are we prepared to do to rescue our nation from this wrecking ball?

Bravo, Ezra. All these months, news sources should have replaced "BREAKING NEWS:" with "CONFIRMED:".

Many of history’s horrors occurred because ambitious insiders turned a blind eye to tyranny, inhumanity, injustice, & common cruelty. A pox on The GOP for being the authors of our national nightmare & on The Democrats for being spineless and naive about the enemy in our midst!

What’s different is that they aren’t denying it any more. They are doing it anonymously, but they are still admitting the truth. Furthermore, they want to be seen as heroes for protecting the nation from its duly elected leader without following proper procedure.

So you are either saying the electoral process failed in that these flaws were not sufficiently highlighted. Or, Americans view this as good for the republic. I am not sure what is worse.

These flaws were very obvious to many, but not to those who voted for him and still support him. The latter is true - there are enough Americans who see him as good for the country - and that’s terrifying.

His unfitness was obvious, what wasn’t obvious was just how craven the entire Republican Party would be. This is on them. How this train wreck ends ????

@realDonaldTrump is a symptom of the disease that is infecting America. Removing him will not rid us of the racists, bigots, and idiots that made him possible. The GOP sold their soul for power. They're like your relative that leaves the family dinner with more than they brought.
