Martin Lee gives a strong speech after being bailed out, as if he was indebted to Hong Kong young protesters. He says he feels sorry as he “couldn’t accompany them” last year, but also feels relieved and proud that “he can finally be with them together in the path to democracy”.pic.twitter.com/eN4NxvOjSM

Rare occasion: US Attorney General William Barr comments on foreign affairs. In the statement, he “condemns the latest assault” on Hong Kong’s rule of law and Hong Kong people’s liberty and states that the Chinese Communist Party’s values contradict Western liberal democracies’.pic.twitter.com/ckccBR68RR
