Wall between news and editorial? (Or Twitter feed and its news division?)https://twitter.com/AMLwhere/status/743405668531572736 …
@AMLwhere @BostonGlobe the Ed board gets to be in the newspaper - is it a problem for it to tweet?
-
-
think it's a fair question. I personally follo the Globe's twitter feed for news, not activism.
-
fair. People subscribed to paper for news. Then they got front page editorials. Dissimilar?
-
different because whole point of social media is tailoring to your interests. Don't have to read oped page
-
The
@BostonGlobe is a big tent--politics, Red Sox, recipes, opinion--in print as on Twitter. What's different? -
social media (feeds) designed for narrowcasting. Print edition of newspapers aren't.
-
they do narrowcast--@ Opinion, Metro, Sports, Ideas, etc--but not under the main
@BostonGlobe brand. I get that.
